Piotr Kołodziej

Expert in humanitarian and development assistance with over 15 years of managerial experience in international and local non-governmental organizations. Has worked in humanitarian contexts abroad (Ukraine, Syria, Turkey, Iraq) as well as in Poland.

Specializes in humanitarian aid coordination, team and people management in crisis situations, emergency response and crisis preparedness, and cross-sectoral collaboration. Professional experience gained at organizations including Polish Humanitarian Action, Ashoka, Save the Children International, Centre for Humanitarian Leadership, Tech To The Rescue, and International Rescue Committee.

Board member of the Mapuj Pomoc (Map the Aid) initiative, which co-creates Poland’s largest network of NGOs focused on crisis preparedness and crisis management.

Participant in training programs and extensive crisis management simulation exercises organized by the European Union Civil Protection Mechanism in cooperation with the European Commission.

Graduate of the Leadership Academy for Poland.
